Can you walk me through the admissions process step-by-step?
Currently, interested families need to come to our campus in Dunn, North Carolina, and complete a paper application. We understand this is not ideal and we are working towards streamlining the process with an online application in the future. We appreciate your patience as we grow!
Could you give me a general idea of tuition costs and any additional fees?
Tuition fees vary depending on whether your student attends LOF Academy five days a week, is on a hybrid schedule, or is 100% virtual. My child was bullied at their last school. How is your school different?
LOF Academy is smaller and has a zero tolerance for drama and bullying. Ms. Sara, the lead instructor, will not allow a student to bully or be bullied. Bullying will get the guilty student expelled.
My child is Autistic. Can he/she thrive at your school?
Students on the Autism spectrum, who have a therapist or ABA available to them, are encouraged to apply. We will be working with an ABA company soon and partnering with a specialized curriculum for the students who need it.
What type of student thrives at LOF Academy?
At LOF Academy, any and all students are welcome and able to thrive with our self-paced curriculum. Our small, safe, and calm environment is designed to support diverse learning styles and ensure every student can reach their full potential. We are committed to inclusivity and personalized education.
Do you offer any scholarships or financial aid options?
LOF Academy will begin accepting scholarships in the 2026-2027 school year. Please remember to apply for the Opportunity Scholarship on February 1, 2026. We will also be able to accept ESA funds starting next year. We are committed to making our unique educational environment accessible to as many students as possible.
Can I pay monthly instead of all upfront?
